Ukrainian attacks hit Russian air defenses near Kherson

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed at least four Russian S-300 air defense systems in southern Ukraine, along with 72 enemy troops, the Ukrainian military’s Operational Command South said in a Facebook post on Aug. 7.
Ukraine’s Air Force has carried out at least nine successful sorties in the region, hitting key nodes of Moscow’s defenses, OC South reported.
The report puts enemy losses in the south as follows:
Troops – 72;
S-300 air defense systems – 4;
Pantsir-S1 air defense system – 1;
122-mm howitzer – 1;
Reconnaissance UAV – 1.
Numerous Russian armored vehicles and trucks were also destroyed; detailed reports of enemy losses are still coming in.
