Ukraine’s defense industrial conglomerate Ukroboronprom and Czech state-owned company VOP CZ made a deal to repair heavy armored vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Czech Republic, director the Czech government agency AMOS, Ales Vytecka, said on Feb. 9, as reported by Sky News.
"The memorandum... contains a specific plan and timetable for the repairs or securing of spare parts," said Vytecka, without disclosing any further details.
The Czech Republic has been one of the largest arms suppliers to the Armed Forces of Ukraine since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. The country is helping Ukrainian troops by providing armored personnel carriers, tanks, howitzers, and military training.
