Ukrainian Army destroys 245 pieces of enemy military equipment in Mykolaiv Oblast
About 245 pieces of military equipment of the invading Russian forces have been destroyed in Mykolaiv Oblast over the past two days, Mykolaiv Governor Vitaliy Kim reported via his Telegram channel on Mar. 3.
“In two days of working over the airfield and the military base near (the city of) Kherson, in (the village of) Kuibysheve, we managed to destroy about 245 pieces of enemy military equipment, as well as personnel, huge amounts of fuel, and 30 helicopters,” he said.
“It was a strategic base for the invaders. Thanks to Kherson for the help.”
Kim added that the Ukrainian military “the whole day chased columns of enemies and caught them” in Mykolaiv Oblast.
“One column is from the village of Pisky, the second is not far from the town of Bashtanka. The hunters are now dealing with them,” he said.
“Nice day, well done. We have zero losses, thank God. But the occupiers have a lot.”
The governor also posted a video of what is happening in the region.
According to the latest data from the General Staff of Ukraine, Russian troops have lost 9,000 personnel (killed and wounded) and more than 1,000 armored vehicles since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine.
Earlier, the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine’s Defense Ministry reported that Ukrainian special forces had destroyed another 10 Russian airborne combat vehicles in the town of Hostomel.
