Ukrainian army destroys Russian drones, troops, equipment and ammunition depots on southern front

The Ukrainian Armed Forces shot down two Orlan-10 and two kamikaze drones over Mykolaiv and Odesa oblasts on Oct. 8, the Ukrainian military’s South Operational Command has reported on Facebook.
But another five of the enemy’s Shahed-136 UAVs evaded Ukrainian defenses and struck Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, causing significant destruction.
Meanwhile Ukrainian warplanes carried out 10 are strikes on enemy fortified positions, troop concentrations, weapons and equipment, and air defense systems in Beryslav District in Kherson Oblast.
Missile and artillery units conducted over 200 firing tasks, as a result of which it has been confirmed that the Russian army lost:
83 soldiers;
4 tanks;
4 Msta-B howitzers;
2 120 mm mortars;
7 armored vehicles.
Seven enemy vehicles were damaged, including a tank, two self-propelled Pion howitzers, and other armored vehicles.
Three ammunition depots in Kherson and Beryslav districts and one control point in Kakhovka district were also destroyed.
