Ukrainian Army repels six enemy attacks in past day, says General Staff

Ukraine’s army repelled enemy attacks near six settlements – in KharkivOblast and in Donetsk Oblast –over the past day, the Ukrainian military’s General Staff said in its morning update on Oct. 2.
In particular, enemy attacks were fought off near the villages of Kozacha Lopan in the north of Kharkiv Oblast, and in Vyimka, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, and Pervomaiske in Donetsk Oblast.
To support the ground forces, the Ukrainian aviation carried out 29 artillery strikes. It was confirmed that an enemy stronghold, 22 enemy storage locations of weapons and military equipment, and six hostile air defense systems had been struck.
In addition, Ukrainian air defense units shot down two UAVs.
Ukrainian missiles and artillery units also struck eight Russian command and control centers, as well as 10 clusters of troops, weaponry, and military equipment over the past day. In addition, the Ukrainian military hit three enemy ammunition depots and two S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems.
According to the General Staff, 50 Russian invaders were injured after an ammunition depot was destroyed in the village of Chernihivka of Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
