The town of Nova Kakhovka in Kherson Oblast was rocked by explosions early on July 18, advisor to the head of Kherson regional military administration, Serhii Khlan, wrote on Facebook.

"Explosions have been heard in the Nova Kakhovka territorial community since the very morning," he said.

"Enemy ammunition is burning and detonating again. Salutes for good – dead Russians who will never wake up again."

The footage of explosions were posted on social networks.

Earlier, an arsenal belonging to Russian forces was blown up in Nova Kakhovka on the night of July 12. About 150 Russian troops, including a general and five officers, were killed as a result of a missile attack by the Armed Forces.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine also struck an ammunition depot of the Russian military in Nova Kakhovka on July 13. Thirteen invaders and six units of armored and motor vehicles were destroyed as a result of the attack.
