Ukrainian military already liberated 12 settlements in Luhansk Oblast, says governor

Ukraine’s army has already liberated 12 settlements in Luhansk Oblast, the region’s governor, Serhiy Hayday, said in a Telegram messenger post on Nov. 14.
“The advance is not easy, every meter of Luhansk Oblast is very hard to take,” he said.
“The Russians had time to prepare, and pulled in a large number of conscripted soldiers.”
According to Hayday, the village of Bilohorivka is under constant shelling by the Russian army, those mobilized and Russian convicts drafted in to serve with the Wagner mercenary company.
“There is nothing left of the village,” he said.
However, having modern long-range weapons allows Ukraine’s artillerymen to hit ammunition depots and other enemy targets deep in the Russian army rear, he added.
Russian forces are reported to be suffering huge losses in the area around the town of Svatove in Luhansk Oblast.
