Ukrainian troops are gradually liberating the territories in the Svatove-Kreminna section of the front, while the Russian invaders are storming Bilohorivka, Luhansk Governor Serhiy Hayday said in a post on the Telegram messenger on Nov. 21.

“If we look at the side from Lysychansk, where Bilohorivka is located, there are more defensive actions there,” he said.

“The enemy sent huge forces there to occupy Bilohorivka.”

According to Hayday, the invaders consider Bilohorivka as a bridgehead for an offensive and to prevent Lysychansk from being partially encircled.

The governor also said that the liberated village of Makiyivka had been completely destroyed, with up to 40 people left in it.

“Things are much better in the village of Nevske, as people have even started doing some small repairs,” he said.

“One farmer has returned and is already resuming the work. The locals are regularly provided with humanitarian aid.”

As reported earlier, the Ukrainian military has already managed to liberate 12 settlements in Luhansk Oblast.
