A Ukrainian woman was injured in a shooting at a Jehovah's Witness meeting hall in the German city of Hamburg, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry spokesperson Oleh Nikolenko told NV in a comment on March 10.
She was provided with medical care and doctors said there was no threat to her life, he said.
Ukraine's Consulate General in Hamburg interacts with German police as part of the investigation into the incident. It also contacted the victim's family.
The Ukrainian consul will visit the hospital soon to provide the Ukrainian woman with consular assistance.
Seven people, including an unborn baby whose mother survived, were killed in the shooting. All the dead were German nationals. Another eight people were injured, four seriously. A Ukrainian and a Ugandan were among them. The 35-year-old shooter killed himself afterwards.
