The founder of the Wagner PMC, Yevgeny Prigozhin, loses 500-800 of his mercenaries every day, Oleksiy Dmytrashkivsky, head of the Tauride Defense Forces joint press center, said on national television on March 20.
"Today, Prigozhin's priority is where to bury his Wagner fighters. He has 500 to 800 people killed every day. And the issue of burial has already arisen," Dmytrashkivsky said.
He said Prigozhin's statements that he plans to recruit 30,000 people by May should not be taken seriously.
"He is a common pro-Moscow liar," Dmytrashkivskyi said.
Recently, a cemetery was discovered in Russia’s Sverdlovsk Oblast where at least 67 Wagner mercenaries, including convicts recruited from Russia’s prisons, were buried.
According to the General Staff, about 700 Russian troops were eliminated in Ukraine on March 19.
In total, Russia has lost more than 165,000 soldiers in the full-scale war.
