The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Novoselivka in Donetsk Oblast and raised the state flag there, according to a video message by a Ukrainian soldier posted on Sept. 28.
Ukrainian army officer Anatoliy Shtefan, on Facebook, shared the following message: “Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine – the 81st brigade, together with the National Guard of Ukraine, liberated the settlement of Novoselivka.”
CNN has also reported about the Ukrainian Army’s success in the Donbas, saying Ukrainian military vehicles were moving through the nearby district of Zelena Dolnya, while “pro-Russian forces in and around the town of Lyman is at greater risk of being surrounded.”

Earlier President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said it will be possible to talk about the end of the war when Ukraine regains all its territories captured by Russia.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counter-offensive in southern and eastern Ukraine in September, striking Russian ammunition depots and clusters of enemy manpower, liberating more than 8,000 square kilometers of territory.
After the success of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the battlefield, the invaders held sham referendums in Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts, in order to legitimize Russian annexation of those regions.
Meanwhile, on Sept. 21, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin announced a “partial mobilization”.
