The war of Russian aggression against Ukraine is about to enter its decisive phase, according to the head of Ukraine’s Military Intelligence, Kyrylo Budanov.
“As the decisive period of the war is coming, we need the help of every Ukrainian and God's blessing,” Budanov said during a meeting with Christian Orthodox Church leaders on Nov. 8.
Budanov is convinced that Ukraine will have a complete victory over Russia and will liberate all of its occupied territories.
Metropolitan Epiphanius of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine noted the great importance of national unity and thanked the Ukrainian defenders who are bringing victory closer.
The metropolitan also awarded Budanov with the Order of the Holy Great Martyr Yuri the Victorious, while three officers of the Main Intelligence Directorate received Orders of Archangel Michael from the hands of Epiphanius.
Earlier, Budanov said that the operation to liberate Kherson would most likely last until the end of November. He also believes that the Armed Forces of Ukraine will enter occupied Crimea before the end of Spring 2023.
