Ukraine’s Commander-in-Chief, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi, has sent Christmas greetings to NATO members and thanked them for supporting Ukraine.
A video address of the greeting was published by the General Staff on Facebook on Dec. 22.
Zaluzhnyi also thanked Ukraine’s partners for their military support for Ukraine.
"We often recall the saying ‘In dark times, bright people are clearly visible,’” Zaluzhnyi said.
“I thank you for your support and assistance. I’m grateful to you for being together with us in this tough, unjust and unjustified war. I’m grateful to you on behalf of every Ukrainian soldier in whose hands your weapon eliminates the world's evil and saves innocent lives."
He said that the world should not forget about the extremely high price of peace.
"The price of peace is extremely high. Recall this while looking at the sky and the Christmas Star in it,” Zaluzhnyi said.
“Pray for the Ukrainian warriors who are in the trenches now, protecting the world from harm,” the Commander-in-Chief said.
“And believe that God is right there, next to him. On the side of good, truth and fairness. We will win together!"
