Russia launches fresh attack on city of Zaporizhzhya overnight

Invading Russian forces once again attacked the city of Zaporizhzhia overnight on Oct. 10, Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Oleksandr Starukh said in a Telegram messenger post.
According to the official, the Russians hit the city at least 10 times.
“A multi-story residential building was destroyed again as a result of a rocket attack in the center of Zaporizhzhya,” Starukh said.
“There are victims.”
Rescue teams, paramedics and all relevant services are working on the scene, he added.
Over the past few days, Russian invasion forces have been regularly attacking Zaporizhzhia, including the city’s residential buildings and civilian infrastructure. Eighteen people were killed as a result of an attack on Oct. 6.
In the early hours of Oct. 9, Russia launched two missile attacks on the city of Zaporizhzhya. According to preliminary data, the invaders fired at least 12 rockets into the city, mainly at high-rise buildings and private houses.
At least 12 people were killed and 49 were hospitalized, including six children, as a result of the strikes.
Thirty-one people were killed in an attack on a convoy of civilian cars on Sept. 30.
