Russia is terrorizing Ukraine’s civilian population with its constant drone strikes, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in Telegram messenger on Oct. 17, commenting on the Russian mass attacks by kamikaze drones and missiles on Ukrainian cities.

“All night and all morning the enemy terrorizes the civilian population,” Zelenskyy wrote.

“Kamikaze drones and missiles attack all of Ukraine. In Kyiv, there was a hit on a residential building.”

However, these attacks will not damage Ukrainian morale or resolve to defeat the enemy, the president stated.

“The enemy can strike at our cities, but he will not be able to break us,” he said.

“Only fair punishment and condemnation by future generations awaits the invaders. For us - victory.”

Four Iranian-made suicide drone struck residential buildings and infrastructure facilities in Kyiv on Oct. 17, according to Kyiv mayor Vitaliy Klychko, who stated that the hits had all occurred in the central Shevchenko district of the city.

Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Odesa, and Zaporizhzhia oblasts were similarly attacked. Rolling blackouts have begun in the city of Dnipro.
