Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a Military Council meeting on April 17, the Presidential Office announced on its website.

Participants discussed the current situation on the front line, with commanders of the operational groups in Hortytsia, Tavria, Odesa, and North reporting on the progress of combat operations in their respective areas, and intelligence providing information on potential upcoming actions by Russia.

The Military Council also addressed the supply of Ukrainian military equipment and ammunition, including the prospects for increasing Ukraine’s own production of missiles and ammunition.

Participants analyzed the status of contracts with Ukrainian producers and prospects for increasing production capacity.

Ukraine’s Ukroboronprom has already started producing three types of ammunition in collaboration with NATO countries, including 122mm artillery shells, 120mm mortar shells, and 125mm tank shells.
