Zelenskyy confirms Ukrainian drone strike on Armavir oil depot

Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine’s Security Service struck the Armavir oil depot in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai overnight, describing it as part of efforts to target infrastructure supporting Russia’s war on May 30.
The facility is located in the city of Armavir, about 500 kilometers (310 miles) from the Ukrainian border.
“We are quite rightly bringing the war back to where it came from. Russia could have ended its aggression long ago, but it has chosen to prolong and continue it,” Zelenskyy said on Telegram.
He added that Ukraine’s “long-range sanctions” are helping bring peace closer.
Explosions were reported overnight in Armavir, where a fire broke out at an oil facility.
Separately, Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces said they struck Russian military targets in Taganrog, in Rostov Oblast, overnight on May 30, destroying an Iskander missile system and two Tu-142 aircraft.
The forces also reported strikes on a tanker from Russia’s so-called shadow fleet and on oil storage facilities in Taganrog and occupied Feodosia in Crimea.
