Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has become No. 1 on the Jerusalem Post newspaper’s Top 50 most influential Jews of 2022.

Zelenskyy ranked first, followed by Prime Minister of Israel Yair Lapid and Prime Minister of France Elisabeth Borne.

The Ukrainian president’s photo is featured on the cover of the Israeli newspaper.

The Jerusalem Post’s list of Top 50 most influential Jews aims at showing the diversity of the Jewish nation, while highlighting people from all walks of life, such as government, art, medicine, literature, and science.

In May 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky led the 2022 TIME100 reader poll, in which readers voted for the people they thought deserved a spot on TIME’s annual list of most influential people of the year.
