Global Rights Compliance (GRC), with support from the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, organized its third international crimes mock trial in Kyiv, bringing together investigators, prosecutors, defense counsel, victim counsel, judges, and journalists from across Ukraine for a realistic simulation focused on preparing future prosecutions for crimes against humanity, including the deportation of civilians from Russian-occupied territories.

The International Criminal Court has opened an investigation into alleged crimes against humanity by the government of Belarus led by dictator Alexander Lukashenko, the ICC announced on March 12.
