Russia’s Yars missile: Key features and minimum launch range explained
Russia's Yars intercontinental ballistic missile (RS-24) is one of the weapons that Russia boasts about the most during parades and nuclear weapons "rattling". On May 18, Ukraine's Main Intelligence Directorate (HUR) warned that Russia could conduct a "training and combat" launch of such a missile. However, on May 19, it became apparent that no such launch had taken place. The reason for the cancellation of the "test" is currently unknown.
