Moldova hands Russia polluted Dniester water in protest

Moldova summoned Russia’s Ambassador Oleg Ozerov and handed him a bottle of polluted Dniester River water along with a protest note over a Russian strike on Ukraine’s Dniester Hydroelectric Power Station that caused an oil products spill threatening Moldova’s drinking water supply, the Moldovan Foreign Ministry reported on March 17.
