Kaja Kallas EU sanctions

The European Union plans to approve its 20th package of sanctions against Russia on Feb. 24, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said after a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs Council, according to European Pravda, on Jan. 29.

The European Union’s 20th sanctions package will not include direct restrictions against Rosatom, but it will contain measures indirectly related to the Russian state nuclear corporation, Ukraine’s presidential envoy for sanctions policy, Vladyslav Vlasiuk, said at a briefing on Nov. 27 ahead of the Sanctions Summit, Ukrinform reported.
