Ukraine inks 30M euro pact for Chornobyl confinement
Ukraine signed an agreement with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on 30M euros ($35M) allocation for the first stage of Chornobyl NPP confinement restoration, Ukrainian Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal reported on April 26.

Chornobyl shelter to be repaired in 2026, official says
Primary repairs to the New Safe Confinement (NSC) at Ukraine’s Chornobyl nuclear power plant, damaged by a Russian drone in February, are scheduled for completion by the end of 2026, Serhii Kondratenko, deputy technical director for infrastructure at the shutdown plant, told Deutsche Welle on Dec. 9.

IAEA reports on Chornobyl NPP situation after Russian drone strike
Inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) examined the damaged shelter at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) on Feb. 15 after it was struck by a Russian drone, the agency reported.
