Ukraine's senior commander resumes command of 9th Army Corps

Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, who left his posts as commander of the Donetsk operational-tactical grouping and the 9th Army Corps in early summer, has returned to lead the corps, NV sister outlet Ukrainian Pravda wrote on Oct. 20.

Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has relieved the commanders of the 17th and 20th corps, Volodymyr Silenko and Maksym Kituhin, public broadcaster Suspilne reported on Sept. 15.
