Ukraine's central bank: warehouse strikes to push inflation higher
Ukraine's National Bank baseline forecast, updated in late July 2026 — which raised the 2026 inflation projection from 9.4% to 10.0% and the 2027 projection from 6.5% to 6.9% — did not account for new attacks on logistics infrastructure and the resulting destruction, which is now expected to add modestly to consumer price growth, NBU Deputy Governor Volodymyr Lepushynskyi said on Sept. 8, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
