Ukraine bracing for sharp cold snap, -24°C by early February
A powerful anticyclone will push out warmer Atlantic air starting Jan. 30, bringing very cold weather across Ukraine with the peak of frosts expected on Feb. 1-3 when nighttime temperatures could drop to -15 to -24 degrees Celsius in the north, possibly lower, meteorologist Natalka Didenko said on her Facebook page.
