All in all, 1,877 students successfully mastered new IT specialties, with 147 graduates already finding work in the IT sector. In total, 2,200 Ukrainians participated in the project.
Training ran from September 2022 to July 2023. Throughout the program, 378 students studied FrontEnd, QA — 299, UI/UX Design — 231, Python — 214, Project/Product management — 182, Java — 152, JavaScript — 151, HR — 105, Digital Marketing — 88, Business Analysis — 46, BlockCha.
The Ministry of Statistics reported that those participants who found IT jobs were able to do so quickly, and that it expects that number to shortly double.
Participants most commonly found work with project (product) management, HR, and JavaScript.
The programs with the highest job success rate were GoIT (20.6% of all students), Source IT (19%), and A-Level ( 15.7%).
Project partner Binance Charity allocated $1 million to provide scholarships for 1,830 students. Another 370 participants studied at the expense of various schools.
In May, it was reported that the Ukrainian IT sector was among the three most powerful in Central and Eastern Europe.
