The facility is located directly on the Volodymyr-Lutsk highway, about 12 kilometers (7.5 miles) from the Polish border, and covers an area of 20 hectares.
The site includes 5 kilometers (3.1 miles) of its own restored 1,520-mm railway track with direct access to Polish terminals located about 400 kilometers away. A rail weighing complex is also available on the premises.
The property includes a 7,200-square-meter sugar warehouse, a 2,900-square-meter beet pulp storage facility, office space, an administrative building, a cafeteria and a dormitory.
The complex also features a tank farm with a total storage capacity of 13,000 metric tons.
The asset being offered for sale consists of the corporate rights of LLC Volyn Bioenergy Company.
As reported, an operational oil refining complex in western Ukraine near the European Union border has also been put up for sale.
The key element of that complex is an oil depot whose infrastructure allows petroleum products to be received and shipped by both road and rail. The facility has simultaneous storage capacity of 3,000 cubic meters of petroleum products.
Its tank farm consists of 28 storage tanks of various capacities.
