Russian ballistic missile destroys Bosch logistics hub in massive barrage on Kyiv

A Russian ballistic missile strike completely destroyed a major Bosch logistics hub on the outskirts of Kyiv during massive overnight bombardment on August 5, the company confirmed in a statement.

The warehouse stored products from the company’s various business sectors, including Mobility, Consumer Goods, and Industrial Technology.

The company noted that no staff or employees were injured.

“According to preliminary information, we unfortunately have to expect the loss of all Bosch products stored at the facility,” the statement read.

The company, alongside its logistics partner, is assessing the extent of the damage and implementing measures to maintain business continuity and fulfill its commitments to customers and partners.

Bosch expressed its gratitude to the first responders, local authorities, and everyone who extended support following the attack.

Russian forces launched a large-scale missile and drone barrage on Kyiv and the surrounding region overnight on August 5, deploying 28 missiles – none of which were intercepted. The attack killed 17 people.

A Rozetka warehouse complex in the Kyiv suburb of Brovary was irreparably destroyed in the attack.

A Russian ballistic missile destroyed the largest Epicentr logistics and production hub in the country.

The missile barrage destroyed a Nova Poshta branch in Kyiv as well.

Russian forces also struck two Silpo distribution centers.

The attack also burned down a Puma logistics facility.

Intertop’s main warehouse on the outskirts of Kyiv was also destroyed.
