Key Epicentr production and logistics hub lost to Russian bombardment

“Our strategic logistics capacity has been destroyed, and one of the largest ceramic tile production facilities in Ukraine has effectively been lost,” the company stated.

One of the company’s key logistics hubs on Kyiv's Viskozna Street burned down.

An employee was killed and three others were injured and hospitalized following a strike on a separate logistics and production complex in Kalynivka.

“Two large warehouse complexes were completely destroyed by direct missile hits,” the company reported. “Another missile struck the production area of the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant. The powerful explosion destroyed all manufacturing furnaces, making further operations impossible.”

“An employee parking lot near the logistics complex was also completely destroyed, with 20 cars burning to the ground.”

“We are forced to make the extremely difficult decision to cease production at the Epicentr Ceramic Corporation plant,” the company announced. “To prevent product shortages and ensure continuous supply, production will first be transferred to two of the company's overseas facilities. At the same time, we are beginning preparations to launch production at another facility in Ukraine.”

“According to preliminary estimates, the full restoration of the destroyed production facility will require at least a year and a half, and most likely about two years,” the company noted.
