McDonald’s opened a new location in Odesa, marking the chain’s tenth restaurant in the city and its 103rd in Ukraine out of 118 total.

The 469-square-meter McDonald’s in Odesa features 125 indoor seats and 106 on the terrace. Customers can order at the counter, use self-service kiosks, or McDrive. McDelivery will launch a few weeks after opening.

The restaurant includes a generator for continuous operation during outages and follows extended safety protocols, closing during air raid alerts and reopening about an hour after they end.

This Odesa location is McDonald’s fourth at a gas station, the first with OKKO. The chain previously partnered with KLO and WOG for similar projects and is building another OKKO location in Mukachevo.

Vitaliy Stefurak, McDonald's development director in Ukraine, noted that these partnerships enhance service offerings rather than compete.

In April 2023, KFC’s Russian business was sold. McDonald's Ukraine’s revenue surged by 296.8% to UAH 12.9 billion in 2023. The first new McDonald’s of 2024 opened in Chernivtsi.
