The State Property Fund (SPF)
will hold another auction on May 22 through the Prozorro platform to privatize
the property of state-owned Zarubyntsi Distillery in Ternopil Oblast, the SPF
announced on May 21.
The fund described the facility as "a valuable enterprise producing ethyl alcohol and bioethanol with favorable logistics and developed infrastructure."
The starting price is UAH73.8 million ($1.67 million), excluding VAT. The privatization package includes 49 real estate units totaling more than 27,000 square meters; 27 vehicles and specialized pieces of equipment; 641 items of movable property; 23.6 hectares of land; and production capacities for ethyl alcohol and bioethanol.
The fund has put the enterprise up for sale before but drew
no buyers. At a previously planned auction on May 14, the starting price was UAH147.7
million ($3.34 million), excluding VAT.
