Over the past week alone, businesses received 530 loans totaling UAH 2.7 billion ($65 million).
The largest volumes of lending since the start of the year were directed toward the following areas:
- Businesses operating in high military risk zones — UAH 24.2 billion ($581 million)
- Development of the processing industry — UAH 21.7 billion ($521 million)
- Investment projects — UAH 21.5 billion ($516 million).
Since the program was launched in February 2020, entrepreneurs have taken out 132,600 loans totaling UAH 450.5 billion ($10.82 billion).
Ukraine’s four oblasts classified as high-military-risk zones — Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Kyiv, and Kharkiv — are among the top ten regions by the number of loans issued.
Enterprises in agriculture, the processing industry, and wholesale and retail trade attracted the largest volumes of financing.
The ministry also announced that the Cabinet of Ministers has extended preferential lending terms for agricultural enterprises under the program for another year, until the end of March 2027.
The Affordable Loans 5–7–9% program is part of the government’s Made in Ukraine policy and is designed to support micro, small, and medium-sized businesses by lowering borrowing costs through state compensation and guarantees.
