Ukraine launches application procedures ensuring state support for Industrial Parks

The state budget allocated 1 billion hryvnias ($24 189 032)  for this purpose. Interested parks can apply for up to 150 million hryvnias ($3 628 354) in state funding on a co-financing basis.

Applications can now be submitted to the state-owned Ukreximbank, which signed an agreement with the Ministry of Economy today. 

Applications will also be accepted by Oschadbank by the end of the week, with Ukrgasbank joining the initiative soon.

"We have held several meetings with industrial parks and communities to discuss the mechanisms for providing state support,” Kysylevsky said.

“I expect that those interested have prepared their documentation. Applications will be reviewed and approved transparently in the order they are received."

State support could be used for constructing substations, connecting power grids, water and gas pipelines, and other industrial infrastructure. 

Funding will be provided on a 50/50 co-financing basis with the applicant, or 80/20 for de-occupied territories. 

Agreements will include specific obligations from the applicant, such as putting 5,000 square meters of industrial real estate into operation within two years and attracting at least two participants within three years.

"Recent years have shown that without infrastructure, especially power networks of adequate capacity, attracting investors to an industrial park is nearly impossible,”  Kysylevsky added.

“Those parks with robust substations, roads, and ready-to-use industrial buildings quickly attract residents despite the ongoing war."

Ukrainian Economy Ministry plans to create an Office for the Industrial Parks Development, earlier reports indicated.

Building PORT innovative logistics complex with an area of 48,000 square meters in Lviv became the main challenge for Alterra group in 2022. When the full-scale invasion began, it had not yet been completed.
