Ukrzaliznytsia said it will launch a trial direct train service from Kyiv to Revaca station near Chisinau International Airport in cooperation with Moldovan railways on Apr. 11.
A test trip is scheduled for April 13. Train No. 351 Kyiv–Chisinau will be extended to Revaca, where passengers will be provided with a free shuttle to the airport.
If the test confirms the relevance of a stop near the airport, Revaca station may be added to the route on a permanent basis.
Ukraine and Moldova resumed passenger rail service on the Kyiv–Chisinau route (No. 351/352) after a 24-year break in November 2022.
At the end of December 2025, Ukrzaliznytsia for the first time since 2022 restored train service between Odesa and Chisinau. The company’s press service said at the time that demand for the route was “extremely high.”
