Ukrainian companies filed 37 of the applications, Svyrydenko specified in a Telegram post. The fund team has moved to study the proposals. One project is being prepared for due diligence, and 21 others are under review, Svyrydenko added.
“All projects concern key sectors: energy, infrastructure, critical minerals, and innovative technologies,” she wrote.
The fund has initial capital of $150 million ( $75 million each from Ukraine and the United States) and will receive additional funding from resource extraction licensing sales. A governing board and industry committees have been established, and an investment adviser has been selected, Svyrydenko said, meaning the fund is now able to make qualified investment decisions.
Svyrydenko said the fund aims to sign its first three investment agreements by the end of 2026. It will prioritize projects that attract additional capital and deliver the highest economic benefit. Applications are still being accepted on the fund’s website.
Economy Minister Oleksii Sobolev previously said the first
funding decisions could be made in late March at a management board meeting.
