The Ukrainian President announced that Ukraine would form a Council for Entrepreneurship Support under Martial Law, which will include business representatives from various industries.
On Jan. 23, Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) supported a initiative proposed by Volodymyr Zelenskyy regarding strengthening economic security during martial law, including reducing pressure on Ukrainian businesses.
This follows a Jan. 22 statement by Zelenskyy, in which he announced that government officials had met with representatives of Ukrainian business. During the meeting, he asked for suggestions to "remove the tensions" between the government, business, and police, which have escalated in the wake of the arrest of Igor Mazepa the investigation of his investment company, Concorde Capital.
