Government to regulate food export prices
The Ukrainian government has approved a new regulation setting minimum export prices for certain agricultural goods, Permanent Parliamentary Representative of the Cabinet, Taras Melnychuk, announced via Telegram on Aug. 20.
"According to part four of Article 19-2 of the Law on Foreign Economic Activity, the regulation on setting minimum export prices for certain goods has been approved," Melnychuk wrote.
The regulation stipulates that the Agrarian Policy Ministry will determine the minimum allowable export prices for specific goods, considering delivery conditions in accordance with the International Commercial Terms (Incoterms).
According to Melnychuk, the minimum allowable export prices will be set in U.S. dollars per kilogram.
Previously, it was reported that Ukrainian exports in July 2024 grew compared to June and reached nearly $3 billion.
