Ukrnafta gets new Supervisory Board chair

Former Equinor executive Timothy Dodson has been named
chairman of Ukrnafta’s
supervisory board, the Ukrainian state-owned oil company announced
on March 5.
Dodson has more than 40 years of international experience in geology and resource extraction. He has chaired and served on the boards of several UK and Norwegian companies, including Ennox Technology, New European Offshore, and Sval Energi. From 1985 to 2021, he worked at Equinor (formerly Statoil), rising from a logging engineer and wellsite geologist to vice president for corporate strategy, the statement said.
Donson’s predecessor, Duncan Nightingale, has moved to the supervisory board of Ukrnafta’s parent company Naftogaz, the message added.
On March 2, the Cabinet appointed a new supervisory board at Naftogaz based on the nominations committee’s recommendations. Independent international members named to the board include Robert Sleszynski, Erik Rasmussen, Duncan Nightingale, and Tor Martin Anfinnsen.
Ukrnafta is Ukraine’s largest oil producer. The company operates
1,807 oil wells, 164 gas wells, and operates the country’s largest network of gas
stations, with 663 sites.
