Several top managers will be fired from the Ukrnafta national oil company by the new management team, the Ukrainian energy outlet enkorr reported on Dec. 21, referring official sources.

"The decision was adopted; the process is ongoing for all of them. It's just a matter of time," one of the sources told journalists.

Vice President Felix Lunev, the Head of Marketing Department Andriy Kushch and the Head of Legal Department Vyacheslav Kartashov are all expected to be dismissed, sources say.

Andriy Kushch and Felix Lunev have been working in Ukrnafta since 2003 at the time when the Privat Group gained operational control over the company, the outlet wrote.

Kartashov had served before as a personal lawyer of Ihor Kolomoisky, while Kushch had served as a curator of oil and liquefied gas auctions.

Lunev was appointed to the position of the Vice President in 2016 with approval of then CEO Mark Rollins.

Also, a number of middle managers were reportedly fired.

Earlier, it was reported that Ukrnafta had initiated an unscheduled audit inspection at the entity.
