Demian Shevko

 Demian Shevko - Born in Kyiv. From childhood, he was interested in politics and international processes, maintained an active civic position, and was a participant in key socio-political events in Ukraine, notably the Orange Revolution and the Euromaidan.

With the aim of better understanding Ukraine's geopolitical role and the challenges facing it, he obtained academic degrees in the field of political science and international relations – a master's degrees from the National University of Ostroh Academy and the University of Warsaw, and completed post-master's studies at Jagiellonian University. He is currently working on PhD research dedicated to Ukraine's place in Russia's strategic narratives.

After the start of Russia's full-scale aggression, he returned to Ukraine, where he collaborated with foreign media, notably the London publication The Independent, in the role of a local producer. In 2023, he joined The New Voice of Ukraine team as a journalist. He specializes in topics of the war, Russian propaganda and information influence, as well as investigative journalism.
