Hollywood actress and Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, Angelina Jolie, is said to have arrived in the western Ukrainian city of Lviv, journalist and fashion commentator Maia Pidhorodetska wrote on Facebook on April 30.
Jolie has made her stance on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict clear – she had earlier visited a boy, from the city of Chernivtsi, being treated for cancer in Italy.
According to Pidhorodetska, one of Jolie’s first acts in Ukraine was to go for coffee at a popular national franchise – Lviv Croissants.
"Nothing special,” Pidhorodetska wrote in the captions of video with Jolie. "Just Lviv. Just went in for coffee. Just Angelina Jolie. It's just the whole world supports Ukraine.”
The Hollywood star was dressed in gray loose-fitting pants and a baggy sweater. She also had a black backpack.
Ukrainian TV host Hryhoriy Reshetnyk has already joked that Jolie could become the next heroine of the Ukrainian version of the Bachelor project.
