Some Ukrainian Orthodox Church — Moscow Patriarchate (UOC-MP) representatives have admitted that they have always been moochers, and now simply do not know what to do after their church has been evicted from the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra Monastery.

A video published on social media shows a young pro-Kremlin priest complaining that he is now not needed by anyone, because he has learned nothing useful during his life and is used to being dependent on his worshippers.

"I came to this monastery expecting to live there until old age, as long as God allows, and die... I'll be homeless somewhere... Who needs a freeloader like me? I have no job, no profession. All my adult life, I was a choir director. Nobody in this world needs my professional skills," he complained, dismissing the possibility of doing manual labour or other working-class jobs.
