Russian mass attack on Kyiv damages 5 ambulances
Five ambulances were damaged in Kyiv during a Russian combined drone and missile attack overnight, Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko reported on Telegram on July 4.
The ambulances were damaged while responding to calls for injured residents. No medics were reported injured.
Powerful explosions rocked Kyiv overnight into July 4 due to the combined drone and ballistic missile attack. The assault injured 23 people, with debris falling in five districts and causing multiple fires.
According to authorities, the attack damaged residential buildings, an educational institution, a medical facility, non-residential buildings, vehicles, and warehouses. Ukrainian Railways reported damage to railway tracks within the city of Kyiv.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported that Russia attacked Ukraine with a record 550 aerial assets, including 539 drones and 11 missiles, one of which was a Kh-47M2 Kinzhal. Air defenses neutralized 476 drones and two Iskander-K cruise missiles.
