Death toll from missile strike in Mykolaiv rises to eight

The number of people killed in a Russian missile attack on the city of Mykolaiv on June 29 has increased to eight, Ukraine's State Emergency Service in Mykolaiv Oblast said in a Facebook post on June 30.

At 10.55 p.m., a man's body was found under the rubble in the stairwell during search and rescue operations," reads the report.

"Thus, eight people were killed and six were injured as a result of the incident."

Russian forces fired more than 10 missiles at the city of Mykolaiv early on June 29. One of them hit a five-story apartment building.
