Energy structure ablaze in Lviv Oblast after early morning Russian missile strike

Russian forces attacked an energy infrastructure object in the Stryi district of Lviv Oblast on March 22, Lviv Regional Military Administration head, Maxym Kozytskyi, reported on Telegram.

A fire broke out at the facility following a drone strike, and firefighters are on the scene working to extinguish the blaze.

No casualties have been reported, Kozytskyi said.

The Russian military launched its most extensive attack of 2024 on Ukraine's energy system on the morning of March 22, targeting multiple oblasts with cruise and ballistic missiles, and drones.

Local authorities reported strikes in Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhya, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, and Vinnytsia oblasts.
