Explosions shake Donetsk: over 20 blasts and rising smoke — photo, video
More than 20 powerful explosions rocked the Russian-occupied city of Donetsk on June 22, according to reports from the Russian propaganda outlet TASS, with local Telegram channels also sharing videos.
Ukrainian journalist Denys Kazanskyi reported direct hits in the city, with smoke rising from the affected areas.
The Russian occupation authorities have not issued any official comments on the potential aftermath of the attack.
Previously, a loud explosion was heard in Donetsk on May 29, with local sources reporting a strike at a gathering point for Russian troops.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
