Active fighting continues in Robotyne area, Russians try to advance from south and east
Russians are trying to conduct assault operations from the south and east in the direction of the Ukrainian village Robotyne in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, said Ruslan Muzychuk, spokesman for the National Guard, in a commentary for Liga.net on March 20.
According to him, Russians continue their advance attempts in the Novopavlivka sector, and active hostilities continue in the area of Robotyne. Enemy is attempting to assault from the south and east, in the direction of Robotyne, he noted.
"In general, our defense forces are trying to deter these attacks asearly as possible and strike at enemy manpower and equipment," he added.
The speaker also said that the ground is a bit dry now, so weather allows usage not only tracked vehicles, but also automotive equipment.
Russians use vehicles to transport personnel, move along the front line and for their logistical tasks. Muzychuk added that over the past week, the Guards destroyed 84 occupiers vehicles.
Earlier, Dmytro Lykhoviy, spokesman for the Tavria Operational-Strategic Group, said that Russian occupants are constantly trying to advance in the Zaporizhzhya sector, but their attempts are localized. The enemy is being smashed on the outskirts of Robotyne village.
The military war may be swinging in our favor, but the information war continues.
Just as an army needs soldiers, so does a free society need its journalists to ensure that people have access to honest, trustworthy voices to understand the world around them.
For the past five years, The New Voice of Ukraine has been working tirelessly to push back against Russian narratives and defend democracy. But we cannot do it alone.
