Explosions heard in Kyiv, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi oblasts, air defense working

As a result of a mass Russian missile attack on the morning of Oct. 10, explosions were heard in the Kyiv, Lviv, and Khmelnytskyi oblasts and air defense systems are operating, the three regional governors Oleksiy Kuleba, Maksym Kozytskyi, and Serhiy Hamaliy respectively reported via Telegram messenger.
They also urged residents to stay in shelters.
On the morning of Oct. 10, Russia launched a massive missile attack on Ukrainian cities.
In Kyiv, Russian missiles hit the city center and infrastructure facilities in different districts of the capital. Rescuers reported casualties and wounded, cars were seen burning.
An air alert was earlier declared throughout Ukraine. It has lasted for almost three hours as of publication.
