Air raid sirens went off across all of Ukraine on the afternoon on Dec. 27, according to the the Air Raid Alert Map of Ukraine.
The sirens were likely triggered by the launch of a supersonic Russian interception aircraft, a MiG-31K, at 4:35 pm from an airfield near the Belarusian town of Machulyshchy, according to the Belarusian monitoring project Hajun.
The MiG-31K is capable of launching Kinzhal hypersonic missiles.
